# PLU--Academic-Performance-Nigeria # Factors Influencing Academic Performance Among Secondary School Students in Nigeria ## Project Overview This project investigates the key factors influencing academic performance among secondary school students in Nigeria. Using a dataset of 972 student records across 10 Nigerian states, the analysis identifies the strongest predictors of academic outcomes and provides evidence-based recommendations for improving educational performance. This project was completed as part of the People Like Us (PLU) collaborative learning community. --- ## Problem Statement Academic performance among secondary school students in Nigeria has become a growing concern, evidenced by persistent declines in WAEC, NECO, and JAMB examination outcomes.
