Analyzing historical insurance claim data to optimize marketing strategy and identify low-risk targets for premium reduction in the South African car insurance market. # Insurance Claim Data Analysis The objective of this historical insurance claim data analyses is to help optimise the marketing strategy as well as discover “low-risk” targets for which the premium could be reduced, hence an opportunity to attract new clients. ## Project Structure The project directory contains the following structure: - `data/`: Contains the txt files for unittest. - `notebooks/`: Contains notes for analysis. - `src/`: Contains the source code for the analysis classes. - `tests/`: Contains the unit tests for the analysis classes. - ``scripts/``: Contains test script for each classes. - ``images/`: Contains images from the analysis result. - `requirements.txt`: Dependencies used. ## Installation 1. Clone the repository to your local machine. ``` $ git clone github.com ``` 2. Navigate to the project directory. ``` $ cd insurance-claim-analysis ``` 3. Create a virtual environment. ``` $ python3 -m venv insurance-venv ``` 4. Activate the virtual environment ``` $ source stock-venv/bin/activate ``` 6.
