Data insights from the Malaria in Africa dashboard # Data insights from the Malaria in Africa dashboard ## Overview Malaria Deaths in Africa: 2000-2014 is a an open dashboard on Tableau. It shows the number of Malaria Death over years from 2000 to 2014 ## Malaria in Africa Dashboard Firstly I opend dashboard and got an overview of the whole dashboard to get insights from. I found two interactive charts. - **First Chart:** on the left side is a heat map about which countries are most affected and have many malaria death. - **Second Chart:** on the right side is a column chart for numbers of malaria death over time with line chart of average death in each country and in Africa. ## Insight 1: ============ * The most affected country is **Kenya** * The most affected year in Kenya is **2003** * The **average** number of malaria deaths every **year** = **27,896** case * The **average** number of malaria deaths every **day** = **76.43** ## Insight 2: ============ * The second highly affected country is **Congo** * The most affected year in Congo is **2003** * The **average** number of malaria deaths every **year** = **15,203** case * The **average** number of malaria deaths every **day** = **41.65** ## Insight 3: ============ * The Third highly affected country is **Angola** * The most affected year in Congo is **2003** * The **average** number of malaria deaths every **year** = **11,469** case * The **average** number of malaria deaths every **day** = **31.42** ## Insight 4: ============ * The Average in **Africa** every **year** = **1,303** case
