# BitByBit Africa A community learning organization that builds learners from the foundation up: literacy, numeracy, unplugged coding, design thinking, creativity and innovation, and frugal solutions first, and only then digital devices, robotics, and AI, with safeguarding and digital wellbeing woven through every rung. Every enrolled learner's journey is documented and reported against their own baseline. ## Live site **Open the website** `atindahhillary.github.io` ## The support model Anyone can support one named learner, term by term or year by year, in USD, and follow their climb from their first letter to their first working, AI-assisted machine. The commitment is generational, not a one-off: a seed planted in one learner. | Tier | Amount | What it backs | | --- | --- | --- | | Seed | $8 / month ($96 / year) | One learner, fully covered, plus a named journey page and reports | | Grove | $80 / month ($960 / year) | A cohort of ten learners plus shared kit | | Ecosystem | $500 / month ($6,000 / year) | A whole neighbourhood learning hub with full evaluation | Amounts are indicative, pending a published unit-cost breakdown and annual audited accounts. ## This repository | Path | Purpose | | --- | --- | | `index.html` | The full pitch site (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in one file) | | `images/` | Photography used on the site | Founder: Kirsty Mueni ## Notes Statistics cited on the site are drawn from public reports by the World Bank, UNESCO, the African Development Bank, the ITU, the DQ Institute, and Kenyan learning assessments, and are used as backdrop. Cost figures and support tiers are indicative. Photographs are AI-generated placeholders, disclosed as such on the page, pending real programme photography.
