Benchmarking suite for evaluating LLM reasoning and linguistic accuracy in East African language contexts
# LLM Benchmark — East African Dialects
Most LLM benchmarks are built entirely on Western English datasets, which makes it hard to know how well these models actually perform in East African contexts — whether that is formal Swahili, code-switched English/Swahili conversations, Sheng, or fintech reasoning grounded in things like M-Pesa transactions.
This project is my attempt to fill that gap. I built a benchmarking suite that tests frontier models across 500+ carefully written prompts covering grammar, logical reasoning, cultural context, and multi-step fintech problem solving. The results were interesting — and in some areas, pretty damning for the models.

## Running the benchmarks
Run everything:
