vocab builder # Swahili Daily PWA - v0.1 A mobile-first Progressive Web App prototype for short daily Swahili practice. ## Current features - 10-15 minute daily session - 5 new vocabulary items - 8 generated conjugation prompts - 5 sentence-production prompts - 1 speak-aloud task - simple local progress tracking - installable PWA structure - works on phone and laptop through a browser - no external JavaScript dependencies ## Run locally From this folder: ```bash python3 -m http.server 8080 ``` Open `localhost` on the same computer. To test on a phone on the same Wi-Fi network, run the server on the laptop and open `your-laptop-ip` on the phone. Some PWA installation/offline features require HTTPS, so the production deployment should use an HTTPS host. ## Important limitation in v0.1 Progress is stored in the browser's `localStorage`, so phone and laptop do **not yet sync**. The next release should add a small hosted database plus anonymous/user authentication so the same learning record follows you across devices. ## Next build priorities 1. Curated Core 300 vocabulary 2. Real spaced-repetition records per item and direction 3. Grammar-skill tracking rather than only total accuracy 4. Tested Swahili morphology engine 5. Cloud synchronization 6. Editable vocabulary and curriculum 7. Better speaking mode and eventual audio
