The project involved recording of audio in Swahili language # Speech-Recognition-AMMI-Project This project involved recording of audio in Swahili language using the Lig-Aikuma app for the course Speech Recognition by Laurent Besacier. # Data Collection The audio data in Swahili language was recorded using the Lig-AIkuma android app. This repository contains 2h recorded audio from 12300 words split into sentences of maximum length of 15 words per sentence. The text used in this recording is from the book of Joshua in the Bible from Chapter 1-10. The repo contains the audio recorded on lig-aikuma and the preprocessed text elicited for recording the audio. It also contains the ASR model pretrained on the CPC_audio model.
