I had the privilege of being a speaker for the event, and I delivered virtual lecture on the **Big Data Modeling with R**. The objective of the lesson was to guide participants on how to handle big data in R using **`data.table`** package, as well as connect to **Apache Spark** through the **`sparklyr`** package. The lesson also demonstrated how to analyze big data using **_machine learning algorithms_** such as **logistic regression**, **decision tree**, and **random forest**. ### The PowerPoint file for the presentation, and the dataset ("weatherAUS.csv") with a PDF of the metadata on the dataset are all uploaded to this repository, for your reference. The R Script file is uploaded too.
