# Shamba Smart Backend Django REST API backend for the Shamba Smart farming application. ## Setup Instructions ### 1. Create Virtual Environment ```bash python -m venv venv source venv/bin/activate # On Windows: venv\Scripts\activate ``` ### 2. Install Dependencies ```bash pip install -r requirements.txt ``` ### 3. Environment Variables Create a `.env` file in the root directory: ``` DEBUG=True SECRET_KEY=your-secret-key-here ALLOWED_HOSTS=localhost,127.0.0.1 DATABASE_URL=sqlite:///db.sqlite3 CORS_ALLOWED_ORIGINS=http://localhost:8000,http:… ``` ### 4. Run Migrations ```bash python manage.py migrate ``` ### 5. Create Superuser ```bash python manage.py createsuperuser ``` ### 6.
