ASILI (working title) — proof-of-concept for a curated African music platform: reference mockup, design brief, and Claude Design prompt # ASILI — proof-of-concept (working title) **The Living Archive of African Music** — a curated platform connecting Africa's musical heritage and contemporary talent with global creative demand. Heritage catalogues and contemporary African productions, AI-enriched, rights-cleared, licensable for advertising/TVC, film & TV, games and fashion, with separated stems for DJs and producers. > Proof-of-concept material. All artist names, tracks, labels and figures are fictional placeholder content; genres, eras and musical contexts are real. Includes real sample content so nothing falls back to lorem ipsum. | ## Design direction in one line Fashion-house minimalism (ivory, hairlines, one giant condensed wordmark — cf. too-young.com) × African geometry as museum-grade ink engravings (mudcloth, Kuba, chevron, Ndebele, zellige — mapped by region) × SaaS instrument-grade UI for the AI (scanline, typing analysis, hairline gauges, emotional print). One accent color: bronze `#8A6B2F`. ## Using with Claude Design Either paste the contents of `asili-claude-design-prompt.md` directly, or attach this repository and point it at the prompt + brief, with `asili-mockup.html` as the reference build to elevate — a starting point, not a constraint.
