Using student assessment and demographic data collected between 2013 and 2015, the project applies a Difference-in-Differences (DiD) approach to estimate the effect of the intervention while exploring patterns across schools, regions, and student characteristics. **Introduction** Education programs often require evidence to determine whether investments lead to better learning outcomes. This project examines the impact of education grants provided to schools in the Oshikoto region during the 2015 school year. Student performance before and after the intervention is compared with schools in the Omusati region, which serves as the comparison group. The project demonstrates how quasi-experimental methods are used when randomized experiments are not feasible. **Objectives** The project aims to: - Merge student demographic and assessment datasets into a single analytical dataset. - Explore and summarize the characteristics of the study population. - Assess whether treatment and comparison groups followed similar trends before the intervention. - Estimate the impact of school grants on student academic performance. - Produce clear tables, graphs, and written findings suitable for decision-making. *Why This Project* Impact evaluations are widely used to assess whether development programs achieve their intended results.
