# Low-Resource-Langauge-Taita-to-English-Translation This is a project which translates Taita, a low resource language, to English. The dataset consists of Taita (dav) to Swahili (swa) translation pairs. It has 26,700 pairs of Taita to Swahili Translations The Project has two Phases: Phase 1 uses a pre-trained Rogendo model to learn the Swahili language. Phase 2 is the training phase using T5-small model. We create a new Taita to English translation pairs using the knowledge learnt from the Rogendo Model and training it.
