The #EndSARS is a decentralized social movement and a series of mass peaceful protests against police brutality in Nigeria. The protests abruptly ended on the 20th of October 2020, when members of the armed forces opened fire at unarmed civilians during one of the protests in Lekki, a wealthy suburb of Lagos. On the 20th of October 2021, Nigerians celebrated the memorial of their fallen heroes killed unjustly by the government. Another round of protests took place both online and physically with the hashtag #EndSARSMemorial. This report focuses on the process of collecting tweets from online protests and performing network analysis on them.
