# 🌿 Vegetation Map of Tanzania
## 📌 Overview
This repository provides access to the **Potential Natural Vegetation (PNV)** map of Tanzania, developed by the Vegetationmap4Africa project. The PNV represents the vegetation that would naturally occur under current climate and soil conditions, without human intervention. It serves as a baseline model to assess potential vegetation across eastern Africa.([vegetationmap4africa.org][1], [vegetationmap4africa.org][2])
The map distinguishes 48 vegetation types, categorized into four main groups:([vegetationmap4africa.org][2])
