PharmaKenya connects PPB-licensed manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, pharmacies, hospitals and clinics — with fraud prevention built into every step:
- **License gates** — only institutions with a valid Pharmacy & Poisons Board license can trade. Licenses are checked against the register in real time at onboarding *and* again at checkout.
- **Batch-level custody tracking** — every batch carries a verifiable chain of custody from manufacturer to dispensing point. Expired and recalled batches are hard-blocked from sale.
- **Vigilance center** — public recall alerts, a counterfeit-reporting channel, and supplier scorecards.
