The goal is to provide data-driven insights that support smarter agricultural investments and scalable growth. ## Dataset The dataset contains farm-level records including: - Crop type - Investment and revenue - Yield and farm size - Farmer experience - Cooperative membership - Environmental and location data (State, LGA) ## Data Cleaning & Preparation Key steps included: - Removal of duplicate records - Handling missing and inconsistent values - Standardizing text, dates, and data types - Correcting location errors - Creating derived columns such as Profit, Experience Groups, Average Yield per Hectare, and Crop Duration ## Key Insights - High-yield crops include sweet potato, sesame, rubber, cashew, and banana - States such as Bayelsa, Borno, FCT, Gombe, and Kebbi lead in investment and revenue - Farmers with over 16 years of experience who belong to cooperatives show higher performance and attract more investment ## Tools Used - Microsoft Excel - Data Cleaning & Analysis Techniques - Descriptive Analytics ## Outcome The analysis highlights where productivity and profitability already exist, offering a clear roadmap for targeted agricultural investment and policy decisions. ## Author Janada Kefas
