Replication files for research on women-led agro-processing enterprises in Northern Ghana. # Women-Led Agro-Processing Enterprises in Northern Ghana This repository contains the reproducible code used for my Harvard Kennedy School Second Year Policy Analysis (SYPA), which examined productivity constraints among women-led agro-processing enterprises in Northern Ghana. The project combines nationally representative household survey data from the Ghana Annual Household Income and Expenditure Survey (AHIES) with qualitative field interviews conducted in peri-urban Tamale. Because the AHIES microdata are confidential and cannot be publicly shared, this repository includes the complete analytical workflow but does not include the raw datasets. --- ## Research Question Why do women-led agro-processing enterprises remain persistently low-productivity despite years of policy support? --- ## Methods - Data cleaning and harmonization across multiple survey waves - Construction of analytical variables - Descriptive statistics - Pooled OLS estimation - Robustness checks - Reproducible workflow developed in Stata --- ## Repository Structure code/ Stata scripts for cleaning, variable construction, descriptive analysis, and regression estimation. docs/ Documentation describing the project and analytical approach. output/ Available on request. --- ## Software Stata --- ## Author Jessica Naa L.
