It bridges the gap between formal/informal waste collectors and residents across all income levels by operating across three interfaces: **Web, WhatsApp, and USSD.** ## 🌟 The Problem In Ilorin, municipal solid waste management is deeply fragmented. While high-income areas have access to private PSP operators, over 60% of the city relies on unregulated cart pushers, open burning, or drainage dumping. Existing waste-tech startups in Nigeria (like Pakam, Wecyclers) are heavily Lagos-centric and require smartphones—leaving out a massive demographic. ## 💡 The Solution CleanPadi is the first digitized waste platform in Ilorin, designed not to replace the informal cart pushers, but to serve as the **operating system** that supercharges them. ### Core Features: - 🚛 **On-Demand Pickup:** Match with verified local agents for general waste pickup. - 💰 **Cash4Trash:** A buy-back scheme where residents earn cash or airtime for separated recyclables (PET bottles, sachets, cans). - 🗺️ **DumpAlert:** A community crowdfunding map to report and finance the clearance of illegal dumpsites and blocked drainages. - 📱 **USSD Inclusion:** Full service accessibility via `*347*7723#` for feature-phone users without internet access. ## 📱 Prototype Features This repository contains the interactive frontend prototype developed for the hackathon. - **Single-Page Architecture:** Built with pure HTML/CSS/JS for high performance. - **Persona Switcher:** Experience the app from three perspectives: - **Amara Bello:** Smartphone user (Tanke) - **Mama Risi:** USSD feature-phone user (Ago-Oja) - **Kazeem Adewale:** Waste Agent/Collector dashboard - **USSD Simulator:** A fully functional JavaScript state-machine simulating the `*347*7723#` feature phone experience. ## 🛠️ Built With - HTML5 - Vanilla CSS3 (Custom responsive phone-sh …
