This is a web application that generates Akan name for you after inputting your date of birth. Akan names are derived from Ghanian culture. Frequently in Ghana, children are given their first name as a 'day name' which corresponds to the day in the week they were born. ### Akan Names Generator ### Version Akan Name Generator v1.0 ### Description This is a web application that helps one generate their Akan name based on their date of birth. Akan names are derived from Ghanian culture. The users simply inputs their date of birth in the form provided,select gender, and click on generate name button. The app then calculates day of the week they were born and genenates Akan name for them based on their gender. ### Features This App features the below in summary: * Input of year of birth. * Input month of birth. * Input day of birth. * Select Gender. * Output of Akan name. ### Installation and Set-up To use the app, open the Github Pages link provided below on the README.
