The analysis explores subscriber growth, telecommunications subscription by technology, GSM operator performance, market share, technology adoption, teledensity, and internet data usage. ## Objectives - Analyse telecommunications subscriber trends over time - Examine Month-over-Month (MoM) and Year-over-Year (YoY) subscriber growth - Compare subscriber trends across major telecommunications operators - Analyse subscriptions by technology/service type - Examine 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G adoption - Analyse teledensity and internet data usage - Present key findings through an interactive Power BI dashboard ## Tools Used - Power BI - DAX - Power Query - Excel - Data Cleaning - Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) - Data Visualization ## Data Source The dataset is based on telecommunications industry statistics published by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC). ## Project Period **January 2023 – December 2025** ## Key Insights The analysis highlights changes in Nigeria's telecommunications subscriber base, operator performance, technology adoption and data consumption over the study period. Mobile GSM remained the dominant subscription category, while newer technologies such as 4G and 5G continued to gain importance.
