## Hello and Welcome! ### Monitoring Chlorophyll-a Concentration in Kenya's EEZ This project involves the monitoring of Chlorophyll-a concentration in seawater over time (1997-2025) using ocean color satellite data from Copernicus Marine Environmental Monitoring Service (CMES). The Chlorophyll-a variable was examined over various seasons (i.e. North East Monsoon, South East Monsoon, Short Rains, and Long Rains). Major operations in this project involve: filtering data by season, generating seasonal composites for chlorophyll-a concentration over space, generating yearly timeseries for each season and automatic data plotting
