## Overview
This repository contains data and code to reproduce the results from our paper. This study examines how household characteristics influence within-household contact patterns in South Africa. Using wearable proximity sensors, we collected data from households in two Agincourt (rural site) and Klerksdorp (urban site). The analysis investigates how factors such as household type (Extended, Nuclear, Single-Parent), household head gender, and geographic location affect interaction frequencies and patterns, with particular attention to child caregiving dynamics.
