Project Overview The Nigeria Food Inflation Dashboard analyses food price and inflation trends in Nigeria using national and state-level food inflation data. Project Objectives The dashboard aims to: - Analyze food inflation trends over time. - Examine monthly food inflation patterns. - Compare food inflation across Nigerian states. - Present key food inflation indicators through an interactive dashboard. - Provide concise, data-driven insights from the analysis. ## 3. Data Source The dataset used for this project is based on Consumer Price Index (CPI) data published by the **National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), Nigeria**. The workbook contains national Composite CPI data, including the Food index and food inflation measures, as well as state-level Consumer Price Index data. Key data used in this dashboard include: - National Food Consumer Price Index (Food CPI) - Month-on-Month Food Inflation - Year-on-Year Food Inflation - State-level Food CPI - State-level annual food inflation - State-level monthly food inflation The CPI data uses **2024 = 100** as the base period.
