# 🌍 Community Vulnerability Mapping in Nigeria ### *Identifying Poverty Hotspots Using Simple, Actionable Data (SDG 1, 3 & 9)* --- ## 🎯 Project Overview This project uses community-level socioeconomic data to identify **which Nigerian communities are most vulnerable** based on poverty, unemployment, income, infrastructure quality, and access to health facilities. The goal is simple: 👉 **Help decision-makers, NGOs, students, and citizens understand where support is urgently needed — and why.** This project aligns closely with three UN Sustainable Development Goals: * **SDG 1 — No Poverty** * **SDG 3 — Good Health & Well-Being** * **SDG 9 — Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure** --- ## ❓ Why This Project Matters Nigeria has more than **200 million people** spread across thousands of diverse communities, each facing different levels of access to jobs, income, infrastructure, and health services. Yet most discussions about poverty happen at the national or state level — far too broad to guide real interventions.
