Built with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap 5, and vanilla JavaScript. # LearnX — Frontend MVP A frontend-only marketplace connecting verified tutors and skill instructors with parents, students and adult learners across Nigeria — for home or online lessons. No backend, no database: everything runs on Local Storage. ## ⚠️ Before you open `index.html` This project uses **ES6 modules** (`js/app.js` and friends import each other with `import`/`export`). Browsers block ES module loading — and any local `fetch()` calls — when a page is opened directly from disk (`file://...`). You'll see a blank page and a CORS error in the console if you just double-click `index.html`. **Run it through a tiny local server instead** — any of these work: ```bash # Option 1: Python (built into most systems) cd LearnX python3 -m http.server 5500 # then open localhost # Option 2: Node npx serve LearnX # Option 3: VS Code # Install the "Live Server" extension, right-click index.html → "Open with Live Server" ``` No installation, build step, or backend is required beyond that — it's still 100% static HTML/CSS/JS. ## Demo accounts | Role | Email | Password | |---------|-----------------------|-------------| | Admin | admin@learnx.ng | admin123 | | Learner | learner@learnx.ng | learner123 | | Tutor | chidinma@learnx.ng | tutor123 | (Quick-fill buttons for these are on the login page.)
