The project is set in the fictional country of Maji Ndogo, where years of severe drought, deteriorating infrastructure, and systemic corruption have resulted in a national water crisis. Millions of citizens experience unreliable or unsafe access to clean water, while government resources are limited and must be allocated strategically. Following a change in government, national leaders have committed to restoring equitable access to clean water. To achieve this, they require accurate, reliable, and actionable insights derived from operational data. As a data analyst, my role is to transform raw data into meaningful information that supports evidence-based planning, resource allocation, and infrastructure investment. --- # Business Problem The newly elected government must answer several critical questions before beginning nationwide restoration efforts: * Which communities experience the greatest water shortages? * What types of water sources are currently available? * Which infrastructure failures should be prioritised? * Where are maintenance efforts most urgently required? * How reliable is the available operational data? * Which interventions will produce the greatest impact with limited resources?
