Dynamic Doctors Uganda empowers frontline health workers in rural areas with AI tools and climate-responsive surveillance. Using open-source, offline digital tech, it strengthens health systems, improves outcomes, and builds scalable, resilient care aligned with global health priorities.
Dynamic Doctors Uganda leverages the DHIS2 Climate Tools toolkit to strengthen surveillance and response for climate-sensitive infectious diseases in underserved communities. By utilizing the toolkit’s open-source Python environment and step-by-step workflows, the organization integrates environmental data—such as rainfall and temperature—with health data within the DHIS2 platform. This enables the aggregation of climate information to local health facility catchment areas, facilitating combined analysis. Through tools like the DHIS2 Climate App, the organization empowers frontline health workers to visualize environmental trends alongside disease patterns without coding, supporting early warning, timely interventions, and data-driven decision-making to build climate-resilient health systems.
