The project contains a form with an embedded date calender which enable users to select the year, month and day in which they were borned. # Akan-Name ## Author Nicholas Ngetich ## Description This project is about Akan naming system used by the people of Ghana. The Akan people name their children after the day of the week they were born. The project contains a form with an embedded date calender which enable users to select the year, month and day in which they were borned. As a user, you only need to click on selection appropriately on the date and gender input fields. ### Prerequisites You need to have git installed You can install it with the following command in your terminal `$ sudo apt install git-all` ### Setup To access this project on your local files, you can clone it using these steps 1. Open your terminal 1. Use this command to clone $ git clone github.com 1. This will clone the repositoty into your local folder ## Behaviour Driven Development 1. Provides a form for selecting date of birth and gender - INPUT: The user's date of birth is selected - INPUT: The user's gender is selected - OUTPUT: User's Akan name and Day of week borned displayed as per date and gender selected 1. Shows an error message when date is not selected - INPUT: "mm/dd/yyyy" - OUTPUT: Alerts with error message 1. Shows an error message when gender is not selected - INPUT: "Select your gender" - OUTPUT: Alerts with error message 1. Clear the form on submit - INPUT: Click submit button - OUTPUT: Clears the form data 1.
