Project Overview & Roadmap ### 1.1 Synopsis Brain age modelling estimates an individual's biological brain age from neurophysiological signals, with the deviation from chronological age — the **Brain Age Gap (BAG)** — serving as a quantitative biomarker of accelerated or decelerated neural ageing. Despite over a decade of methodological advancement in this field, **no published study has trained or validated an EEG-based brain age model on an indigenous African population as its primary target cohort.** This repository contains the complete, reproducible implementation for the first such study.
