GIS analysis of water point distribution across constituencies in Nakuru County, Kenya.
# Kenya Water Points – Nakuru County
## Project Overview
This project analyses the spatial distribution of water points across constituencies in **Nakuru County, Kenya** using Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
The analysis uses a national water-point dataset and administrative constituency boundaries to identify how water points are distributed geographically and provide a clear visual representation of water-source availability across Nakuru County.
## Objectives
* Map the distribution of water points across Nakuru County.
* Aggregate water points by constituency.
* Identify differences in the number of water points between constituencies.
* Demonstrate the application of spatial analysis techniques using ArcGIS Pro.
* Produce a professional map suitable for planning, monitoring and GIS portfolio purposes.
## Data
**Water point data:** Kenya Water Points dataset
**Data provider:** ICPAC
**Publication date:** 2017
**Number of water-point records analysed:** 21,310
