It takes a village. # Mudzi — Pan-African Mental Health Implementation Intelligence **Mudzi** (Chichewa/Chinyanja: *village*) — named for the African proverb *"it takes a whole village to raise a child"* and the ubuntu philosophy, *umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu* — a person is a person through other people. Mudzi is the village: an open-source commons that gives evidence-based mental health knowledge back to the continent.
