Cement Price Prediction in Ghana This project uses linear regression to predict future cement prices in Ghana based on historical data. # Cement Price Prediction in Ghana This project uses linear regression to predict future cement prices in Ghana based on historical data. ## Data Source The data is sourced from a social media post by Citi FM 97.3, covering the years 2009 to 2024. ## Methodology 1. Extracted and organized the historical price data into a DataFrame. 2. Visualized the historical trend using matplotlib. 3. Trained a linear regression model on the data. 4. Predicted prices for the years 2025 to 2029. ## Predicted Prices - 2025: GH¢93.80 - 2026: GH¢100.57 - 2027: GH¢107.33 - 2028: GH¢114.10 - 2029: GH¢120.87 ## Dependencies - pandas - matplotlib - scikit-learn - numpy ## License This project is licensed under the MIT License.
