# PROBLEM STATEMENT
A healthcare company in the Nigeria is facing challenges in tracking patient visits, medical diagnoses and
billing records across its facilities. Management wants better insights into patient demographics, billing trends,
city specific health cases, and doctor perfomances.
# INTRODUCTION
This project is a SQL-based project for analyzing patients and patients visit data. The project demonstrates how to
design, query, and extract insights from a health database, covering metrics such as patients demographics,hospital
visits, diagnosis, and bill amounts.
# ANALYSIS
* Viewed all patients to analyse their details
* How many of these patients are female to analyse how accessible health care is to women. Less females visit hospitals than men
* The billing demographics were analysed where 60% of the bills are found to be above 3000. According to the bill category created, most of the bills are medium and above.
* The diagnoses of different patients were analysed and Malaria is the most common diagnosis.
* Visits in different towns were analysed and Lagos seems to be having the biggest number of visits. This could be for various reasons like accessibility, fair billing amount and good doctors like Dr.Adams.
* According to the analysis, Dr. Adams has the most visits in Lagos and also the biggest total billing amount of 9000 amongst all doctors, which shows he is the most prefered doctor.
* Lagos has the lowest average billing amount of 2000 making it the lowest among all the towns, therefore it is affordable and appealing to most patients.
* To arrive to the above the following clauses were used SELECT, FROM, WHERE, JOIN, ON, GROUP BY, ORDER BY, HAVING, DISTINCT, CASE, WHEN. Aggregates that were used include SUM, AVERAGE and COUNT.
These were used in different syntax to arrive to a correct finding.
# RECOMMENDATIONS
* According to the analysis made, facilities to enable female patients have access to hospital visits should be considered.
