Decentralised KYC platform for Africa built on Hedera Consensus Service
Hedera-KYC
Decentralised Digital Identity for Africa — Verify Once, Use Everywhere.
Description
Hedera-KYC is a decentralised KYC platform built on Hedera Consensus Service.
Users get verified once, own their W3C Verifiable Credentials, and share
cryptographic proofs — never raw data — with any institution. Verifiers
confirm authenticity in under 3 seconds for $0.05.
The Problem
500 million Africans lack reusable digital identity. Banks spend $5–$30
per KYC check repeated from scratch at every institution.
