Offline-first WHO IMCI clinical decision support for community health workers in low-resource environments # TriageOS TriageOS is an offline-first clinical decision support tool designed for community health workers. It operates as a Progressive Web App, meaning a health worker only needs to open the URL once on any smartphone to cache the entire system. From that point forward, the application functions fully without an internet connection, requiring no app store downloads, server communication, installation processes, or ongoing IT maintenance. The platform was built explicitly for environments where standard digital health tools routinely fail due to zero-bandwidth conditions, including remote villages, refugee camps, and disaster response areas with minimal clinical oversight. **Important:** TriageOS is currently a Draft v0.1 unvalidated research prototype. It is not clinically validated and must not be used as a substitute for professional clinical judgment or real-world patient diagnostics. ## Live Demo triageosglobal.netlify.app Open it on a phone, turn on airplane mode, and it still works. ## Core Features The software steps frontline workers through adaptive, rule-based clinical evaluation trees using established global medical frameworks: **Childhood Pneumonia Assessment:** Implements age-specific respiratory breathing thresholds and danger-sign check sequences based on WHO IMCI guidelines. **Malaria Triage:** Guides workers through travel/origin checks and Rapid Diagnostic Test results based on WHO IMCI protocols. **Dehydration Management:** Provides structured checklist execution for Plan A, Plan B, and Plan C fluid rehydration routes using WHO IMCI standards. **Acute Malnutrition Screening:** Evaluates client status using on-device Mid-Upper Arm Circumference color-zone classifications following WHO CMAM rules. **Anemia Evaluation:** Utilizes localized palmar pallor comparison metrics to index potential physical signs of anemia according to WHO CMAM standards. **Zinc Supplementation Support:** Computes accurate pediatric dosing intervals based …
