It was carried out as part of **Week 7 of the MIHAMS Graduate Trainee Program (Data Analytics Track)** using survey data collected via Google Forms and analyzed using Excel and Power BI. --- ## Dataset - Source: Google Form Survey - Responses: 62 participants - Topic: Spending Habits of Young Adults in Nigeria --- ## Tools Used - Microsoft Excel - Power BI --- ## Dashboard 1: Spending Profile This dashboard focuses on understanding who the respondents are and how they spend. ### Analysis includes: - Age distribution of respondents - Gender distribution - Monthly income distribution - Top spending categories --- ## Dashboard 2: Financial Behaviour This dashboard focuses on financial habits and spending patterns. ### Analysis includes: - Spending influence factors - Savings behaviour - Impulse buying frequency - Financial health perception - Income vs spending comparison --- ## Key Insights - Majority of respondents are aged **25–30** - Most respondents earn between **₦50,000–₦100,000 monthly** - Food, transportation, and bills are the major spending categories - Spending is primarily influenced by basic needs rather than lifestyle wants - Savings behaviour improves with higher income levels - Many respondents remain uncertain about their financial health --- ## Conclusion This project strengthened my skills in: - Data collection and cleaning - Data analysis and visualization - Dashboard creation using Power BI - Extracting meaningful insights from real-world data --- ## Author **Victoria Onyemaechi** MIHAMS Graduate Trainee Program Week 7 – Data Analytics Track
