This project explores the determinants of wages in Ghana using data from the “North Volta Rural Bank Salaried Workers Study.” The research investigates the impact of variables such as education, marital status, profession, and religion on wage levels. The study also analyzes potential wage disparities based on gender, age, and literacy.

Being married and having a higher level of education are positively associated with higher wages.
The profession and the sector (public vs. private) significantly impact wage levels.
Contrary to expectations, experience and gender are not significant predictors of wage levels in this dataset.
