Global South National Artificial Intelligence Policy Framework Collection (2025–2026)

This publication presents a collection of thirty national Artificial Intelligence (AI) policy framework documents developed for emerging and developing economies across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, and Small Island Developing States.

The collection aims to provide structured policy blueprints that support governments, regulators, researchers, public institutions, and policymakers in designing responsible, trustworthy, and inclusive AI ecosystems.

The frameworks cover key policy domains including AI governance, ethics, safety, transparency, accountability, data governance, innovation, public-sector adoption, workforce development, cybersecurity, and international cooperation.
