This study aims to understand cybersecurity threat modelling techniquesthat are capable of identifying and defending against threats to secureIoT devices in South Africa’s healthcare system. To address thelimitations of existing techniques, it will focus on addressing securityconcerns faced by medical IoT systems. The STRIDE and DREADtechniques will be focused on in order to model against the threats, argues Jansson (2021). The goal is to improve cybersecurity resilience, protect patient privacy and ensure reliable healthcare services.
