Ateso-English Bible Parallel Corpus

The first publicly available parallel text corpus for the Ateso (Teso) language. Ateso is a Nilotic language spoken by approximately 3 million people — the Iteso people of eastern Uganda and western Kenya. Despite the size of this community, Ateso has had almost no representation in the global NLP (Natural Language Processing) ecosystem until now. Dataset Summary
