This dataset contains high-resolution climate projections (0.0375° x 0.0375°, i.e. around 4 km) obtained by statistical downscaling of CMIP6 simulations. It covers the Senegal area and includes five key climate variables: mean temperature, minimum temperature, maximum temperature, precipitation and terrestrial radiation. Data are available from 1850 to 2100 for scenarios SSP1-2.6, SSP2-4.5, SSP5-8.5. The bias correction method used is the Cumulative Distribution Function-transform (CDF-t), widely cited in the scientific literature.

High-Resolution Downscaled CMIP6 Projections dataset of Key Climate Variables for Senegal

A high-resolution climate projections dataset is produced by statistically downscaling climate projections from the CMIP6 experiment. This global dataset is at a spatial resolution of 0.0375° x 0.0375° from 19 climate models over Senegal domai
