Historical and Future Precipitation and Temperature Data, and Water Data for Select Stations and Watersheds in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda

This series comprises 14 (7 historical and 7 future datasets) for 3 pilot watersheds (Sasumua River Watershed, Kenya; Simiyu River Watershed, Tanzania; and Murchison Bay Watershed, Uganda) and select 12 stations in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. The datasets included with the series are as follows:

The data can be used for hydrologic and water quality modeling or other water resources applications and are formatted for easy use with such applications. Additional info on each dataset including detailed metadata is provided with the dataset. The data are packaged and deployed so as to be Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR) in accordance with open data FAIR Guiding Principles (Wilkinson et al, 2016).
