We propose to evaluate the effects of digital information on behavioural change in small-scale reef fisheries using a Before-After-Control-Impact (BACI) design in coastal Kenya. The study applies the Knowledge-Attitude-Practice (KAP) framework to implement five tiers of digital feedback interventions across 35 Beach Management Units (BMUs). We test three behavioural models—Information Deficit, Self-Interested Actor, and Neighbourhood-Interested Actor—through dashboards delivering individual, community, and neighbourhood-level catch and income data. Outcomes include fishing practices, governance participation, compliance, and socio-economic indicators. Findings will inform scalable digital interventions in fisheries management.
