Dataset contains values for organic matter, bulk density, % sand, % silt, % clay, saturated and unsaturated hydraulic conductivities for soil samples (0-10 cm) of 15 trees of three canopy size classes (Small Crown Diameter, SCD; Medium Crown Diameter, MCD; Large Crown Diameter, LCD) at microsites M1, M2, M3, M4 respectively at 25%, 75%, 125% and 175% of the canopy radius in the four major wind directions (i.e., north, east, south and west) and M5 (interspace) at least 10m away from the canopy.
