This dataset presents the key findings from a study examining the impact of oil and gas pollution on voting behaviour in host communities in the Niger Delta, Nigeria. Data were collected from March 17 to April 4, 2026. A total of 45 participants took part in 41 interview sessions, sharing their experiences as members of oil and gas host communities across the Niger Delta. Key areas explored include the effects of oil and gas exploration and production, community resilience and coping strategies, and political participation and voting behaviour.
