The purpose of the study is to assess the potential economic and social impact of climate change on the small-scale aquaculture industry using existing historical climate data; economic data; social data; develop possible alternative and adaptation options that can be integrated into national strategies; identify opportunities that can improve the fishers, fishing communities and the nation as result of climate change; recommend policies on climate change and aquaculture for sustainable utilization of water resources and livelihoods strategies; create awareness in the communities. The results of the study will be published.
