This scoping review intends to synthesise the extent of inclusion of person with disabilities in higher learning institutions of Africa by investigating the accessibility of inclusive services, the social support and protection of PwDs rights from violence and systematic discrimination through legal frameworks. Within the extent of inclusion, this review will be addressing disability inclusion, and policy and legal frameworks for the rights of persons living with disabilities in Africa. The rationale of conducting this scoping review is to sketch the regional pictures of the socially marginalized persons with disabilities to overcome their exclusion within the societies and higher education institutions in Africa. The preliminary MEDLINE(Ovid), PsycINFO (Ovid), Web of Science and SocIndex (EBSCO), using JBI Manual evidence synthesis (Aromataris et al., 2024; Peters et al., 2022; Peters et al., 2020) will be conducted for this scoping review. So far, there is no ongoing research or review on these issues, and this review aims to examine empirical studies on disability inclusion in university contexts across all African countries.
