This dataset contains de-identified, individual-level responses from a cross-sectional survey of adults (≥18 years) conducted in Lagos State, Nigeria from September 7–16, 2024. Participants were recruited in four major open-air markets (Balogun, Yaba, Mushin, and Oyingbo) and completed an English-language questionnaire on demographics (e.g., age category, gender, education, employment, ethnicity/tribe, religion), general vaccine attitudes and information sources, COVID‑19 vaccination history, and willingness to accept a COVID‑19 vaccine manufactured in Nigeria. The analytic dataset includes 335 complete responses derived from 388 consenting participants and is provided as File A (CSV). Supporting documentation includes File B (Codebook) linking variables to question text and response options, and File C (Survey questionnaire). These data support secondary analyses of demographic correlates of willingness to accept locally manufactured vaccines and demand-side readiness for domestic vaccine production in an urban Nigerian setting. Users should consider the non-probability sampling design and that willingness reflects intention rather than confirmed uptake. Image: Wizman, Zouzou. (2005). Wax market [photograph]. Flickr.
