This was collected by a SCINDA GPS receiver installed at Helwan University, Cairo in Egypt which is near the northern crest of the Equatorial Ionisation Anomaly. The receiver was installed by the SCINDA project during the implementation of the International Heliophysical Year program in 2009. The recording of data started in July 2009 up to August 2017 before the receiver become faulty. The actual raw files were preprocessed to textfiles for each year named "Myfiletec'year'". There are 9 text files each with 5 columns of data in the order of DOY, hh, mm, TEC, SI representing doy of the year, hour, minute, total electron content, and scintillation index respectively. The IRI data was got from the Community Coordinated Modeling Center (ccmc.gsfc.nasa.gov) by running year requests from 20009 to 2017. The text files contained the parameters in the following order of year, month, day, hour, minute, second, geographical positions (longitude & latitude), height, electron density, ,TEC, and peak density (NmF2).
