IWAC Sentiment Analysis Visualization

Interactive SvelteKit dashboard for exploring large language model sentiment annotations of the Islam West Africa Collection (IWAC), a corpus of 12,287 francophone West African press articles published between 1961 and 2025 in Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Niger and Togo. Three models — GPT-5 mini, Gemini 3 Flash and Ministral 3 14B — annotated every article on three dimensions: polarity, subjectivity, and the centrality of Islam and Muslims to the article. The dashboard reports each model's distributions, their pairwise agreement (including weighted Cohen's kappa), and blind third-party arbiter evaluations by Gemini 3 Pro of which annotation better fits the source text, with geographic and temporal views, a bilingual French/English interface, and CSV export.
